Alexandra Szemere

Alexandra Szemere is a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of History and Philosophy of Science and also an assistant lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and History of Science. Her research focuses on the analysis of contemporary conceptualizations of “race” from the approach of science studies. She examines how the concept of race is transformed in Hungarian biological and medical academic textbooks and journals. She also conducts research in the field of education development, within which she analyzes the applicability and motivating power of various games in higher education.
